Im new to /ck/ and I notice there is no sticky for information. Im just looking for basic info about cooking. I don't have much knowledge but am very interested in learning about basic cooking methods and recipes.

Specifically im looking for cook book recommendations, the best cooking websites, and even YouTube channels. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Good Eats is a good tv series for learning how to cook some typical foods.

Cooking with Dog on youtube is Japanese-focused, but has very precise instructions.
