Man I just can't get my spaghetti sweet. It tastes fine but I can never get it as sweet or even sweet at all like me mum use to make it, and she's passed on now so I can't ask her what she used.
I'm using tomato sauce, tomato paste, tbsp kitchen bouquet, tsp of salt and sugar each, quarter of an onion, chopped garlic clove, some basil leafs, and a palm of oregano.

I've tried adding brown sugar, more sugar, more brown sugar and more sugar, more basil, less salt, even just paste and no sauce. I can't reach the same solid-ish consistency or sweetness.

Any food tipz n trix?

That's probably eggs form escolar or "super white tuna". Escolar roe, if you will. See, escolar flesh is not white for nothing, anon. The fish eggs of escolar are already white right the eggs are lain and as the eggs develop and turn into fish, their flesh take on a white color. The skin is gray because it's been exposed to the harshness of sea water.

A popular way of serving escolar fish eggs is by soaking the escolar eggs into an acidic solution to simultaneously preserve them and enhance the roe's whiteness.

Anon is probably pretty rich to eat the big of a bowl of escolar roe in one meal.

Oh? Arab Amerifag here. My family used to slaughter livestock in our backyard, but this is different to me because it is as though it is being eaten alive. I assumed the thing wasn't dead because it was moving when they poured the liquid on it.

How does the nervous system respond like that if the animal is dead? Is it essentially similar to when snails fizzle from salt, but to a higher degree?

>> No.6404708

>>6404697

Maybe not "essentially similar" but it's just a muscle twitch, yeah.

Livestock are big animals and by the time you've cut it down to cooking size pieces it's going to have undergone chemical changes. With little sea critters kept in live tanks, that you can kill and clean in seconds, it's not uncommon to have the meat still be twitching right up until the moment it's cooked (and/or eaten).

Yeah. I bet if they did bring a machine over, they;d have to get a partnership with an american company. I'm sure they'd charge 2-3 dollars for a small can.

Is there a way I can order these? I'd pay a Japanese person the equivalent of 5USD for each of these plus shipping just to know.

this is where I go for skewers and I can easily drop 100 bucks here between two people just eating. theyre really fucking good. yakitori places in america are almost all universally shit but this my friend shines like the beauty of the sun. I wonder if anyone else here knows what its like to bite into the skin of well grilled chicken and find it better tasting and textured than quality bacon.
