I actually like blue rare, but you never ask for it because most places will fuck it up. You always just say 118 degrees (obviously burger degrees).

With a proper cut, blue is fine, but I'm more of a fan of rare because blue often comes out borderline cold. If I'm cooking it at home, that's my preference.
