Nah man, Publix is 10/10 for deli meats and chicken tendie subs, but cheese steaks aren't their forte. They take this roast beef and onions and peppers and cheese and put it under some element, the peppers and onions aren't even cooked.

i just had the most goddamn amazing cheesesteak
i sauteed the veggies perfectly since i do it damn near everyday for breakfast
my lazy roommate who only eats microwavable food and only really eats meat actually used to own a resturaunt and is amazing cook and he did the meat
chris who is this knowledge savaunt and worked in fancy kitchens ffor years said use all the cheese we had and then had a bunch of cheesesauce he had made for a fancy dinner the other night

everything was cooked to perfection, all evenly well timed. even garlic buttered the bread, oh good the meat juice was just amazing, ive always hated soggy buns but i had this urge to just pour it all over the sandwich becuase the bread was just a hair too dry, fuuuuck i used to not even like meat.

^^oh and i had put toasted chunks of salami mixed in with the veggies

A good cheesesteak is only provolone, thinly sliced steak, fried onions, and a condiment (mayo, ketchup, and or hot sauce). Hot or sweet peppers are optional.
A mediocre one can become a cheesesteak hoagie (add lettuce and tomato) or can be helped by adding fried mushrooms or by becoming a pizza steak.

Olives have no place on a cheesesteak.
