No, I think vodka is absolutely disgusting.
There is so much alcohol out there that gets you drunk on the same level, but is far less gag inducing. Rum and whiskey are far more mild tasting and still get you drunk.

The original shows dealt with complex philosophical and moral issues, with hardly any action.

The reboot is basically just Star Wars Light: Lens Flare Edition. As far as I'm concerned, it isn't canon and Star Trek won't redeem itself until it gets a new TV show.
