I don't like ketchup, never have really, don't like the flavour, texture, or smell really.

Its okay if there is no bbq or gravy but I use it sparingly when on burgers . Theres just better options when it comes to condiments you dont have to settle

Just to add on this, to me ketchup is pretty much potato sauce...it's good with fries, hash browns, tater tots, etc.

I keep some for cold leftover fries or tots, it makes them edible. I would absolutely not put it on anything else. Well, maybe a grilled cheese made with kraft singles. Or meat loaf.

The only reason ketchup has a right to exist is because it it is the base for making BBQ sauces.

I prefer kecap.

Ketchup is unfairly treated too harshly imo. I mean it's no worse than stuff like sriracha and worcestershire sauce or even most hot sauces. It's sweet yes, but so are many other sauces.

Mayonnaise is only good for three things: egg dishes, buckwheat and as a dressing for salads.

Ketchup is good on fries that aren't seasoned properly, for pretty much anything else mustard is superior.
