A Viet place huh? Do they have good pho?
Me and my buddy both love viet food, so maybe we'll drop by sometime. Do you recommend anything in particular?

Best pho in Toronto as far as I know. I've been to a few places too. A little north of it is also the Golden Turtles- they have better spring rolls, but the Pho and Tien Than beats it. Check it out on Urbanspoon if you like!
It's a good price, too! My bf and I usually get the large size, and it's only 9$ each with extra toppings too- really fresh!

Mother's Dumplings in Chinatown is a good place. Also Dumpling Queen on Yonge just south of Bloor is good too. Very flavourful food.

Also they have a vegetarian option (as such vegan) that I'd had and it's really tasty too. Very nice broth.

I might just check it out then. I'd like to try more viet food, though unfortunately I've got a shellfish allergy which usually means no spring rolls or anything that screams shrimp and all the good stuff.

Also, has anyone tried a place called "Electric Mud BBQ"? Kind of a stupid name, but I've seen the name pop up a few times. I hope they have good pulled pork.

They do have a vegetarian spring roll option too, I believe- might just be the tastiness you crave!

I haven't tried that place, but i have heard food things. Worth a look!

RIP to sotto sotto - I thoroughly enjoyed that restaurant

For Pho - I like fickle on yonge street
port credit is where one of my fave stone baked pizza places are named Papa guiseppes

I also enjoy la Castile for steak in
Mississauga

Really good Italian place in Yorkville that you have to take steps down to go to called Vaticano. That place is amazing!

Il fornello is a great lunch spot in bayview village

For the best southern bbq I have ever had, travel to RD's in Brampton. I urge you to try their brisket and Mac and cheese. They are a mom and pop place with a big heart.

Via Allegra has a wine collection that is unrivaled and their risottos have won awards. I like the wild mushroom parmigiano risotto with an order of sea bass on the side.

Too many favorites, I'm quite literally a fat skinny bitch.

I used to work at sotto sotto a few years ago. I cant tell you the amount of shady characters that came in through the back entrance. Im almost positive that place was purposely burned to the ground.

I was basically in charge of plating the desserts and helped make some of the cakes.

Also to keep on topic with the thread, favourite restaurant on the high end spectrum would have to be The Octagon on Yonge.

By far the best steak i've had in terms of texture and quality, seafood platter amazing as well. I go about once a year with family and get a 12oz filet mignon.
