Ok... so... I saw a stylized chili pepper on a red wine bottle on my way out of the liquor mart and got a terrible idea: malbec syrup with chili pepper on ice cream.

It's phenomenal! Everything that could have gone right about this did! It's not super spicy, it's not too sweet, it just barely crystallizes on the surface of the ice cream.

I wish I had homemade iced cream for this.

When I buy it in a tub, it's ice cream.

When I make it, I pronounce it. The extra effort is worth the enunciation and proper spelling.
