I have no idea what that site is, half the ingredients aren't even available here in Britain that I've seen and I've never heard of tuxedo cake, though I assumed that it was either some kind of joke recipe site or one for americans who have "cool whip" and "JELL-O" in their cupboards and appropriately low standards for what they make with those ingredients.

It was really just my passive-aggressive way of asking him to describe his tuxedo cake here in a post or at least link to a relevant site because Google results aren't always the best example of what you're talking about and frankly, if you expect me to spend half an hour comparing recipes for your cake to find one that sounds good then come back and say "yes, I found a tuxedo cake that sounds nice" then fuck you, nobody has that kind of free time.

I visited Vienna last year and stopped by that famous Cafe Sacher to try some. It was quite the disappointment. It was just tasted so medicore - a little dry, the unsweetened cream really didn't seem necessary as the cake wasn't exactly that sweet to begin with, and the layer of apricot(?) jam was so thin as to be barely perceptible.
