Their regular burger is 700 calories. Add toppings and cheese it'll be higher but not 1100. The amount of fries you get is unbelievable. I can split a small fry with a friend and we both get more than enough. Try their cajun fries.

I tried it maybe once every 2-3 years over the past 10 years as the hype train built more and more then went into overdrive.

I agree in principle, but there are exceptions. The fires at McD's are good. The sides at KFC might all the terrible, but the chicken is good. The hot dogs at Nathan's are good. And since OP is from the UK I would add that a sausage roll from Gregg's may be trashy as fuck, but it's pretty good.

I walked in there once, and saw their prices, then left and never considered it again.

Fuck you, don't tell me what I like. I used to eat at Chipotle 3x a week when I worked in downtown Arlington Virginia. It was one of the cheapest, most filling, and best things I could possibly find for lunch. I still love Chipotle.

5 Guys is really overrated (if anyone thinks it's that good). Are you across the pond? I've heard there aren't a lot of burger options over there. I've only eaten once at 5 Guys, but I found it a bit bland, especially for the price, which is quite above the typical fast-food style burger restaurant.

KFC does NOT have good chicken. It's honestly among the worst food I've ever encountered. Maybe there's a regional difference from your location to my own, but KFC is legitimately the only establishment that I will never order from, because their chicken actually disgusts me. Five Guys is great mainly because you can tell with 100% certainty if a person is a pretentious retard who forms most of their opinions based on trying to look sophisticated if they go on about how overrated it is. Realistically it's still probably overpriced but it's much better than most burgers you're going to get, especially fast food chain ones

Their burgers are plain as shit, but thats what they advertise. 100% ground beef, with some seasoning salt. So dont get mad when its really plain, even with all the toppings.

I literally only go for the fries. They are pretty gewd, but only because they are one of the only places that forces their employees to cook fries properly. The burgers I could give less of a fuck about.
