I'm looking for a hip flask for general use on a daily basis. What's a good size for something discrete? I'm deciding between a 4 oz, 5 oz or 6 oz one.

I have an 8 and a 5 ounce.

The 5 is for day to day stuff. You know, sweetening coffee, having a nip at lunch, sipping while waiting for the train, and the like. It fits in most pockets and is discreet enough.

The 8 is for open or social occasions. If you're backpacking or at a wedding, it's nice to have have something to pass around. But, it is much to large to take to work.
