Hey guys, /fit/izen here, and I need some help with cookies. I want to make protein cookies, and I want to just be able to add protein powder to a recipe I already have. The problem is that i don't know how to add it in. Do I just dump a few scoops in while mixing dough, or do I need to take some flour Out first? Or something else.

Pls respond,
Anon

Cook a steak. Top it with cookies. You have just added protein to your cookies.

Take out about as much flour as protein powder you're putting in. Mix it in with the drys before you add it to the wet. The rest should be the same

I would experiment with a half flour half powder before going all powder unless you have experience in this.

Half of /ck/ gets so worked up when anyone says they have celiac, you guys realise it's actually relatively common right? About 1 in 100 Americans. And it's really easy to get tested now. You guys start talking shit as if every single person who says they have celiac is full of shit.

Try some oatmeal and pumpkin protein bars. Oatmeal is sometimes GF and sometimes not, so be careful with what you pick.

%1 of the population of the US is about 3 million, that's a lot of people. And by common I mean more common than most people think. Do you realise how stupid you guys sound? Trying to tell someone with celiac that they don't really have celiac. You're getting a bit worked up about a thread on a cooking board on 4chan

Overcooking will destroy the protein. I like to use the oven cautiously. Put at 475 for five hours, then turn down to 425 for another 3 hours. Pure protein goodness.

so let's do the math, that's 3 million americans

2,490,000
>so that leaves
510,000 who are successfully diagnosed with celiac disease
>the united states population is roughly 320 million
>celiac disease is considered a rare disease, go ahead and google it if you want

rounding 1/133 to 1/100
that's a pretty big difference to round out considering it's a small percent to begin with
>Thank you, the total comes to $133.
>Can I just round it out to $100?
>Sure, they're pretty much the same thing.

Shows how to make decent gluten free cookies though. Yes, you need to buy a ton of weird ingredients to avoid flour, even though GLUTEN is what makes a good cookie.

That 3 million is of diagnosed celiac sufferers. If you could read they are saying 17% of all those with celiac are accounted for by that 3 million. The 83% are of those unaccounted for. Also that 3 million is off since 1 in 133 is 0.75% not 1%.
