Say you have a 12 year old son who brings a 12 year old guy fierri to your house who stays over for dinner and describes your food as "the bomb-diggity" and "a trip to flavor town". What do? There's nothing wrong with him.

He's annoying, sure but; so is the West Coast culture that produced him.

He's fairly knowledgeable, makes and interesting TV show, and is a good father.

He's that old guy at a basement punk show.
Not really old like geriatric, just too old to act, dress and style himself as he does. The guy who was never cool has grown up wanting companionship from any of the cool kids and now that he's older, tries to get the teenagers skateboarding out behind the bank to think that he's like, totes rad. Really, they just want him to be their straw party to buy them 40s and will put up with his creepiness if it means they can get drunk.
