I don't eat a Mickey D's but I keep on wanting to try their pancakes and hash browns for nostalgia sakes. I haven't eaten it since I was like 5 to 7 years old. Alas I don't wanna visit early in the morning. I'm a teacher so I don't have the time anyway; no breaks and having to be at school before 8

Breakfast is the only thing McDs does right but you only have a 6 hour window in the day to get it an I am busy sleeping, commuting, or working during that time. I bet if they offered all day breakfast at their bigger and busier 24h venues there would sell a shitload of breakfast items.

If not the entire breakfast menu all day then the McGriddle and BLT Bagel would be decent.

The McD's kitchen can't operate at full speed while serving both menus, and McD is all about speed. Some locations will do it at night, but that's because business is slower at night.

It may be because they use the same cooking equipment for the breakfast menu as the regular menu but can't use both for some reason

They use some different equipment for breakfast and lunch menus, so if they had both operating at the same time that's more stations needed in the kitchen and like >>5955927 said they can't put out orders and quickly/efficiently. Just bad for their particular business model.

It'd be mass chaos in the kitchen. You got your early workers who know breakfast but not lunch, and your afternoon workers who know lunch but not breakfast. Now try combining them and everyone's stuff has to be done first. The place would literally burn down from the hostile friction between employees.

I work at a different place, but they probably make food to order. And once the grill temp changes you are not getting any breakfast.

so does anyone know what that sauce they put on the bacon/egg/cheese (and presumably the other) bagels is? it's yellowish and kinda skeeves me out because i have no idea what the fuck it's supposed to be.

Have you ever seen how they make mcdonalds breakfast sandwiches? They have stacks of precooked sausage patties sitting on trays. When breakfast ends they just dump all their breakfast shit and switch immediately to burgers.
I've also seen them just throw away all the extra hash browns they fried right at 10:30, right after I offered to buy some. They literally just threw 2 bucks away.

What they should do is close down the pancakes and shit, and just keep: bacon, sausage, egg, hashbrown

and then incorporate them into their regular burgers. A burger with an egg or a hashbrown patty on it would be delicious, or getting a McDouble with one sausage patty and one regular burger
