If I could give them both some advice (and any other reviewers)... It needs more substance and less set-up. Set-up is fine, but in a 6 minute food review I expect at least 4 minutes of description and analysis.

The 7-11 pizza review for example. I want to know: is the cheese flavorful? Is the pepperoni spicy? Does the pepperoni crumble idea work? How is the balance? Little Greasers is mentioned, but how exactly do they compare? Comparing the crust to DiGeronimos is fine, but how? Flavor or texture? Some interviews are done minutes after receiving the food hot, some are done after returning home and the food is cold. Did it make a difference? Was it a huge difference? (ie tb bean burrito)

Thinking about the audience, what are they supposed to take away from the review?

Every time I'm tempted to eat fast food instead of cooking, I remember this guy and his disgusting nutella review and I quickly regret even thinking about putting that shit in my body.

I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “WOOWOO! WOOWOO! WOOWOO!” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Nutella jars in his hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be busy and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the Nutella jars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. After she scanned each jar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by farting really loudly.

So for me Joey videos are on the mental illness side I don't like.

I wanna try to enjoy his videos. Like, I enjoy other independent sub normal food reviews on youtube. And even though I don't eat that type of fast food or frozen food on the reviews I watch much anymore. I like the unique perspective some people have on them. Joey though just seems like super unhealthy below average intelligent dude killing him self. I can help but think his on screen personality is part of the 25% of his day he is not completely depressed.


He acts like he does it for his fans but we all know he eats like this all day. Fuck when does a pizza review god knows he eats the whole thing when the camera is turned off. I bet he always has like extra food in the bags he has during fast food reviews.

There's been a lot of people recently who do fast food reviews. I've stopped for a while simply because I can't financially justify eating fast food every single day. I write about different food and retro fast food more often now.

There's a bit more information being conveyed in my videos/reviews than just a guy eating a burger and vomiting it up for attention. The thing that blows my mind is that he says he's got a "world tour" going on, yet I see nothing that isn't domestically available in the LA area. I go out of my way to find the obscure and the odd or familiar differences in items between one thing and another.

I've covered asia, europe, america, etc... this guy's got nothing outside of his backyard and nothing outside of his wheelhouse. I don't get what the point of reviewing the same thing over and over is and calling it a "world tour." There's no effort or research involved either.
