over marketing and frozzen pya food. if gonna eat boyarde (which i like) for a dollar a can and six meat balls. last timw and I mran the last time and it was not the first,all igot was re heatedpasta, nasty salad bar a 3 oz glass of wine and a bill for over 125 for 4 plus a teensge diva waitress, and most of them the same. ate at 3 there wont be 7 maybe they will change, honestly, my taste is not that refined but I'd rather eat ate micky dee. circling the drain.I am a easy coustomer but former dishwasher, bus boy and line cook, no baseball fan but third time- you are out.. also health and clean. A = ok 90 to 100% B = 80 -90 and a deathknell thert is no C. olive gardens restroom were woes than truck stops or college stadiums. another one is jackoff in the box. if others atr like here, i'd rather eat a gas station hotdog or taco or starve until home. I ain't the cleanest guy but if your restrooms resemble porta potties we will be dining elsewhere..

I grew up poor pleb, rural pleb so when I was little olive garden was considered fancy to us.. obviously I've grown up to learn otherwise now but I still consider it a good casual restaurant.

It is pretentious for what it is and overpriced IMO but there is one thing wrong

Idk what ingredient they use but something, some one evil, wreaks almost instant havoc on my guts and sounds the diarrhea alarm midway through the meal..

I cant think of any other restaurant or food that hits me like clockwork.. the gf wants to go eat at OG.. I just hope I have some pepto handy and traffic is light on the way home

I always liked Olive Garden as a kid but once I got older I realized a lot of their stuff is just pre-packaged stuff with a bunch of cream and butter in everything that you can cook at home. The dishes are hit and miss but some taste good and I always fill up on breadsticks and salad which are both usually good and then you can take a lot of your meal home so it's a decent value.

People who hate on it act like it's a fine dining place. It's a huge mass produced chain like many others and prices are decent for what it is.
