Around here they are much better than the other options. Pizza hut, Godfathers, Dominoes, Little Caesers, etc. The quality is just better, at least at this particular store.

The best pizza comes from a place called Jeff's Pizza, but its not a chain.

It's better than Pizza Hut and Papa Johns at least.

I used to like this place until they threw out their 90's orange/yellow mexican flair for a bland and minimalist design.
Their pizza used to be soft and greasy, with heavy cheese notes.
Now it's fluffy and greasy, with hardly any flavor notes at all.
Their only decent offering now is La Gigante, if only for the novelty of a 2xLarge sized pizza for $12.

I consider this the baseline for corporate pizza chains, it's not nearly as cost effective as the other places, but it's gooey, soft and flavorful, like you'd expect of a $12 pizza. Somehow, it tastes better reheated.

My biggest beef with chain store pizzas is that, in order to save time, they do not properly cook the pies. I think people have gotten accustomed to soggy pizza, so they don't recognize the difference. Whenever I order one, from Domino's or any other chain, I tell them to cook it 1 1/2 times so that it has been thoroughly cooked the way a pizza should be.

I just get Domino's because it's dirt fucking cheap for weeknight carryout. I don't even really like it that much. It's always rediculously salty.

I like Dominos quite a bit. I like their crust, and their wings and pasta are yummy too.

Their deals in Canada are nowhere near as good as in the US though. And there is a disturbing lack of breadbowls. I really like breadbowl pasta, I get two meals out of it.

Pizza Hut once charged me $16 for a salad that would have cost $6 even at the most upscale grocery store. When I'm coming home from class tired as shit, I get off the bus, walk PAST Pizza Hut so I can go and order Dominos.

It's pretty much the only thing that lends itself to brand loyalty, since pizzas are usually a social cop-out food and everyone looks at the box to take a slice, they see your logo, and know what to order next time.

Id say regular toppers pizza is just ok, but their more specialty pizzas are usually amazing. Had their tater tot pizza at work the other day and it was delicious.

I can't testify to the quality of American Dominoes, but I can tell you that what we have in the UK is fucking trash. I mean, its edible, but it is low-tier. I'd order from Pizza Hut if not for the fact I'm just outside their delivery zone.

Having said that, I live in Scotland. Fuck both and get yourself a nice Korma pizza from the Indian instead.
