yeah, companies will usually change their products to adapt to local tastes. oreos had to have less sugar to sell in china. tomato paste is already sweet though, it doesn't need more sugar.

Ketchup got a bad rep because some manchildren pour it everything (maybe they still do, or maybe even those people have changed to the condiment of fashion). But I think it's nice for what it is. Sure it contains lots of sugar, but so are a lot of other sauces.
