ah... I'm a bit far into my cup.

There's actually this sleazy chain in racine who greases the cops' palms. They run a liquor store/bar, and get around the laws by selling entire bottles from the bar. They turn off the lights on the liquor store side, but will sell you all the booze you want at $10-15 markup.

Pissed off that, although it doesn't affect me anymore, that you can't let your kid drink a beer if you're accompanying them as a father.

It's suffering to be semi-reliant yet be too used to drinking at LEAST low tier craft beer/medium tier brew.

Same with liquor. I can't just buy everclear and dunk it into koolaid or something and be fine with it.

Stopped at the liquor store today to get a bottle of vodka after getting called into work on my day off. It's been an incredibly shitty week for me at work and I'm glad to finally have a night to drink without restraint and sleep in tomorrow, even if it's poor drunk sleep. Pouring myself another drink right now and I notice that I'm more than half done with the bottle; I'll probably finish it tonight. It goes down so smooth but really messes up my stomach afterwards and I'll likely regret this. But I don't really care.

I drink craft beer once or twice a week as a special treat. I usually get a bomber. I don't like drinking enough fancy beer to get drunk because the hangovers are brutal and it seems silly to spend so much money to get wasted.

I allow myself to drink a pint(actually half a fifth, 375ml) of whiskey every night and if I still want to drink after that I switch to macro brew or red wine.
