Protein bitch, do you even lift brah? Seriously, a lean, grass-fed steak isn't going to kill you and damn right those greens are healthy.

>>5730424
Make soba noodles per package instructions, ie boil for 3 minutes and drain/rinse with cold water. While its in your sieve, pour some soy sauce through it, making sure to do it in a single circular motion. You want a small amount to just go through them, not a shitty puddle in your bowl.

Get nice cut of steak at room temp, cover in freshly ground salt and pepper, heat up some coconut oil (personal preference, use whatever you want) and sear the meat for 3 minutes each side, turn down the heat, cook for another 3-4 minutes, off the heat, on plate, let it rest. Take your greens and your shrooms, sautee them in the leftover oil from the steak. Add the noodles, give it a quick stir, plate. Slice steak up and dump on the noodles. Enjoy.

>salt, pepper, a dash of fish sauce

A tad bland until I got to the broth left over (added the fish sauce into my bowl after tasting actually). I'm glad I only bought one cabbage and tomato, otherwise, I would have had a shitload of ingredients and soup left over. I ended up making enough for one more person. I guess it'll be tomorrow's late lunch.

You can be forgiven for the mistake, but the board pictured wasn't an MSP430, it's a Tiva. I do own one though.

Pic related, it's my collection (which, yes, does indeed actually include an MSP430).

As for what I'm making, well, I'm still saving up and collecting components, but here are my current primary ideas:
-Wireless thermostat
-Custom Playstation 3/Xbox 360 controller.
-OBD-II sensor reader for my car.
-Automated water/fertilizer feeder for my indoor herbs (this will likely be the most expensive)

>> No.5739064

>>5739044
I actually think the automated water/feeder will be cheap.

If you are looking at tradional wireless components such as Wifi shields and stuff you will burn through money

I suggest getting a bluetooth module which are a few bucks. Look up HC06 or HC05 Bluetooth module. It uses simple communication protocols to transfer bytes over. I have used this in projects such as your automated feeder

Its very useful and connects to smartphones/PC via bluetooth really well (teraterm and the like on PC).

BeagleBone White (Friend Interned at TI, got one for free, didn't want it, gave it to me)
Tiva Launchpad (required for Intro to Embedded Systems)
MSP430 Launchpad (TI was giving them out at a career fair last year)
Stellaris LM3S1968 Demo board -- that green one (required for Real-Time Embedded Design)
Arduino Micro (Read somewhere that USB HID was supported natively on the ATMega 32U4, so I thought it would be good for my controller project)
Arduino Uno knockoff (local Fry's was having a sale...like $15, figured why not?)

Previous pic isn't really anything special, just a simple Blinky to verify the board is working, since it's actually brand new.

I was originally thinking of using the ZigBee wireless protocol instead of Wifi or BLE. I've only got experience programming a board to interface with ZigBee, and I don't know what kind of range you can get out of BLE. Weird as this may sound, I've literally never owned a Bluetooth device, so I don't know what kind of range to expect.

I also don't know anything about robotics, and my initial thoughts on the plant feeder I was thinking I might need to get some motors, which I've also never bought, but I assume to be quite expensive, is this not the case?

>> No.5739115

>>5739098
I would highly suggest bluetooth because your goals should be:

>highly design mechanical system so that all you need to do is move one piece to water or stop watering
>this requires only one two-way switch
>this means you can use a 5V or 0V digital output to control the action you prefer
>this can be incorporated with using one byte or a few bytes for more complicated
>this small communication within a ~20m range can be done easily and cheaply with bluetooth

I would highly suggest looking into HC06 and Arduino projects online. The coding is extremely simple. Mechnical design will take thought but you can reduce dependence on circuits and robotics if you limit what you need.

I remove the fiber and peel and get a wooden pestle to pound it then deep fry at 375°f until golden brown

Its slightly carmelized but with a kind of meaty salty taste with some crispness

For the sweet potatoes I julienne finely, cut in half fry at 350°f until the yellow (I used white flesh) remove add some adobo, hit with the wooden pestle then fry at 375° until golden
