What are some hidden gem at Taco Bell? I found out the other day about the Loaded Potato Griller and that was pretty good.

I'm housing for my parents tonight and tomorrow, there is no local store within 10 mins so I can't cook but there is a Taco Bell 5 mins away. It's 930, do they stop making certain things late?

One Spicy Potato Soft Taco rolled up inside a Bean & Cheese Burrito or Beefy Cheesy Burrito.

Alternatively a Cheesy Bean & Rice Burrito + sour cream and guacamole.

Santa Fe's been gone for about a decade now, Baja probably about five years or so, and chicken club was just an on again off again promo that for some reason never stuck around.

You can still get them to make nacho cheese Chalupas though, they just aren't on menu items anymore and will cost you a little extra.

Not him but I've had one before and don't think they're anything to write home about. I will say that they are pretty filling for something less than $5, which is always nice when you're both hungry and poor. I personally thought it was kind of bland tasting.

Now if they could make some kind of AM quesarito, I would be on that like flies on my diarrhea from eating said quesarito.

guys check this out. I never got to try the cantina tacos here in canada, but this looks quite nice. Despite the prices being slightly higher, it would still be a lot less cheaper than an independent hipster restaurant offering the same kind of fare here in Canada.

>this nigga remembering the santa fe chalupa

I was starting to think I dreamed it up, nobody remembers that. best chalupa. baja was great too, good sauce. the others were meh and they kept the most boring of the lot on the menu. chalupa supreme, please.

The worst part is that they could have easily brought it back recently had they wanted to.

When the cantina menu first came out they finally had all the ingredients needed to make it readily available again. Guess they just thought there wasn't any demand.

>> No.5707603

>>5707578
it had a specialized sauce, it was orange colored. so it wouldn't have been the same.

lots of items get the character from a sauce and they've gone through a a plethora of sauces. baja, volcano, santa fe, caesar, jalapeno cream, chipotle ranch, etc etc etc I cannot remember how many sauces they've gone through. I guess they don't want to store that many sauces.

>> No.5707608

>>5707603
Thought for sure they brought back that sauce for one of their many short lived promo items.

Maybe I'm thinking of a different one.

they had a spicy jalapeno cheese sauce for that floppy grilled nacho thing, was it the same one? It's been too long for me to be sure but I remember the santa fe chalupa having an orange creamy sauce that tasted a little like cumin. pretty sure they called it santa fe sauce and it only came on that one item.

last I chekced you couldn't even pull up a picture of the santa fe chalupa or gordita, thats long forgotten history.

the santa fe and baja were the best. Also the green/verde sauce that came in the giant clear packet circa 2000

kek, I just found this awesome old commercial.

the one in the middle is the santa fe, you can see the sauce and corn salsa. I used to have the stuffed chihuahua in the revolutionary hat, it said "VIVA GORDITAS" when you squeezed it.

anyone remember what the one on the left is? I don't see a sauce on it.

Had to hit up google to see if this was true. There are only a few pictures of it still floating around and they looks so damn good compared to what's on the menu nowadays.

>spicy jalapeno cheese sauce
Fuck man, I'm still craving that stuff. Grilled Stuft Nacho may have been a stupid idea, but that sauce made it taste heavenly.
