What do you think of this recipe?
Directions

Bring a pot of lightly salted water to a rolling boil; cook the fettuccini at a boil until cooked through yet firm to the bite, about 8 minutes; drain. Transfer the fettuccini to a bowl.

Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook the garlic and pesto in the melted butter until warmed, 2 to 3 minutes; pour over the fettuccini and toss to coat.

That's an awful way to cook that. I mean, only warming the garlic? Cooking fresh herbs? Get outta here! You're even boiling the water incorrectly - salt water takes 10-15% longer to boil.

>Finely slice garlic
>Bring water to a boil
>Add salt to BOILING WATER
>Cook pasta to desired tenderness
>While water is boiling, simmer sliced garlic over low heat in a mixture of butter and olive oil
>While garlic is simmering finely chop your parsley (basil is better, just sayin)
>Don't burn your fucking garlic
>Seriously, don't fucking burn it
>If you burn it you'll have to slice all that garlic again
>Your knife skillz are shit
>You didn't burn the garlic?
>Combine all ingredients
>Add salt/pepper/freshly-grated-parmesan to taste

If you use that Kraft shit, you're gettin' no poosy.

Why do people add butter to pesto?
