Based orange Joya. The first time I got that was at a shitty little bodega in the slums of Monterrey. The kind Mexican woman behind the counter helped me figure out the right number of strange coins would be required for payment. My friends and I enjoyed these delicious refrescos after a day of working in the hot Mexican sun. Immediately, we were transfixed by the bright flavor and light carbonation. We felt our bodies begin to recuperate and become imbued with a new found energy and satisfaction for life. We later would shower together under a hose inside a small outhouse and cleanse our exterior bodies as the Joya had cleansed our souls. In the years since then, we have grown apart, but I still think fondly of that special summer in the slums each time I see a bottle of Joya.

I don't know if I'd call it the best, but I actually like this a lot. Smells good and has kind of a light citrusy taste. Probably just one of those "acquired taste" things though.
