Does anyone else make their own dog treats? What recipes do you use? I'm just trying for my first time, Alton Brown's stinky biscuit recipe. I'm tired as fuck of paying exorbitant amounts for cookies.

I've never met a dog that doesn't eat its own puke and shit.

Not...really the point of the thread. I agree that this little fucker will munch on just about anything. Point being, I would hope that the things I feed her now will help her have a better life eight or nine years down the road. Plus, recipes that keep for a month or two, I dunno man. Just trying to read the room.

I am way too tired. all I could think of is "How does he cut those out? He would spill his drink." spent a couple minutes trying to figure it out.

But yeah my dog loves crepes.
We would make crepes and fold em up and give em to him every so often. Duke was always your best friend when you were making crepes. Miss that dog.

Somewhere a kid is eating packet custard and tinned fruit and you are baking tasty biscuits for your dog?

Going to check that out; dog treats are expensive as fuck (not even my dog, so I don't like spending money on her).

Also, what do you use to get ice like that?

are those dog treats in your picture?

>> No.5607075

I've made cat treats but not dog.
Basically, I add powdered prawns/shrimp to my standard cracker recipe and lower the amount of salt considerably. I buy dried prawns whole from the market and grind them into powder myself.
That's about it and the little mewling bastard goes nuts for it. Or went nuts, rather. I've no cat any more.
I wouldn't know what to add to make them suitable for or enjoyable to dogs, though. I don't know if I can find pulverised/pulverisable beef or chicken or something like that.
