Pickles make it sound weird I guess, but her canned pickles are really sweet. The dressing is more or less just pickle juice and mayo. She's replaced pickles with green pepper before and it was just as good. She's pretty much bedridden now though and never wrote down anything, so I don't know how to make her pickles like she did. If I could, I think I could replicate it pretty well.

I once made a chicken heart stroganoff-type sauce with lots of dubliner cheese and served it over macaroni, it was pretty damn good.
