Answer me this /ck/, would there be any negatives to me boiling lobsters like I do crawfish?

I'm from South Louisiana so we boil crawfish all the time here and it tastes awesome so I figured a lobster is pretty much just a giant crawfish so I don't see why it wouldn't work.

But before I go and drop a good bit on lobster I'd like know if this sounds like a good idea

I meant in terms of the seasonings I use to boil crawfish. I know they're boiled but I rarely ever hear about people putting seasoning in the water. I didn't know whether or not that made a difference

Ah. well due to its expensiveness people generally want to appreciate the taste of the lobster. If you enjoy a spicy lobster then I say spice it, but if you want to enjoy the taste of lobster flesh then butter and lemon are the standby options, and i personally just like to eat the critter with no additional flavorings, not even a dash of salt
