I looked into opening a bakery once. I decided not to do it because i already make a ton of money as a software architect at a fortune 500, which allows me to work from home 4 days a week (and no one checks so many times its 100% wfh). Also, bakers have to wake up several hours before the ass crack of dawn, and fuck that.

From looking into it, commercial ovens and mixing equipment is ridiculously expensive. If you are lookingminto the bar and grill check out the eovens and mixing equipment they have. Bars and grills are often equipped with an oven, though not the type you really want so that you can crank out 100s of pizzas a day. And most wont be equipped with a commercial dough mixer.

Honestly, if you don't have a plan or experience, that's going to be a problem. But the good news is that it's not hard to come up with a plan: most people open restaurants because they think it's fun and easy. It can be, but not when you don't know what you're doing.

My honest advice would be to watch enough episodes of Ramsays Kitchen Nightmares until you start to notice the repetition of problems and solutions. Watch both UK and US versions: they both have different strengths that would help if you want to run a restaurant.

You're obviously savvy enough to have noticed a niche in the market, so step up, put some work and research in and exploit that niche. Good luck.
