i love food wishes videos but i've never really enjoyed any of his recipes that i tried to make myself. i'm hooked on his insane voice though and the video quality and tips are good so i keep watching.

You're actually better off by searching for recipes by respected chefs rather than waste time on Julia Child, Jacques Pépin (can be contested), Alton Brown, Jamie Oliver... or other self proclaimed stars with no further merit.

Look for Alice Waters, Thomas Keller, Daniel Boulud, Paul Bocuse, Troisgros, Fernand Point, Alain Chapel, Alex Atala, Raymond Oliver, Alain Passard etc etc. If you don't speak other languages learn to love google translate. There's tons happening in cooking at the moment, but it's not happening in English.

BBQ Pit Boys are great. Even though a lot of the content is very similar (Usual video formula is; Rub, cook, eat) It's still really fun to just watch how good the food looks. Makes me hungry every time though.
