Went to the san jose flea market after not having gone after about five years. The produce section was a bunch of tropical fruits all sprinkled with chili pepper, mexican candies, agua frescas and some random mexican bbq joints.

Overall it was pretty decent but I noticed that a lot of the chamoy sauces they had were made with mainly vinegar and it was disgusting.

what are you wanting us to discuss in this thread?

He is offering us a review of a market. Use your imagination.

There's this market in Columbus. It's indoors and for Columbus, it's pretty righteous. There's these hippies selling spices. I picked up this citrus adobo blend and it tasted so good I could literally gaze into the future.

Also, I live in Chicago. I know there are all kinds of markets, great and small, especially in the summer... Anyone else in this dead end city have any experience with the market scene? Any recommendations?

Finally, look into the market(s) in your are. If you have any. For me it feels like being seven years old and going to the toy store. Shit's definitely more than worth the time/effort of finding one, going to one, battling for parking if it's in an urban center. et cetera.

TLDR: Markets

No you're right it definitely isn't. However, I fail to see you even trying to contribute to the thread so please, unless you want to talk about markets, go someplace else. And strongly consider never coming back. Thank you.

I've never earnestly accused anyone of being autistic, but seriously, are you?

Please explain to me how markets, places that sell food, cooking implements, spices, et cetera, don't relate to food & cooking. Please. I would love to see you try and tell me how food isn't food.

That's how I know yo're autistic.

Living in DC and there are like 8 markets over the weekend in the city, of varying sizes and quality I suppose. I've only been a few so far-
Eastern Market: pretty huge, has a flea market and outdoor weekend market and permanent indoor market. Definitely the best stuff is the meats, they really have a cool variety. Seafood is meh.

Union Market- This has a permanent indoor market which is really poor in the produce (might as well go to the hispanic wholesale joint a building over), but they have a god tier bakery (and DC basically has just the one).

My favorite market is probably the Charlottesville farmer's market down south a ways. Everything is really fucking fresh because of all the valley farms nearby and they don't gouge you like in the city.

That place looks ok.
Do they have good tacos, bbq, or pho?
