best items are cheesey gordita crunch, chicken or steak quesadillas, crunchwrap, chalupas, IMO. and always get a side of pintos and cheese and maybe a nacho cheese cup to dump on your items, making it even better.

Best part was I got it at a combo Taco Bell / Long John Silver's place, so in addition to the four TB hot sauces and their new 'Salsa del Sol', there was also a big bottle of Cajun Chef Louisana hot sauce (which I'd never had before). I don't get this comparison. The Mexican Pizza has been a TB staple for decades, like the Burrito Supreme and Meximelt. The Angus blah-blah was some fad bullshit that was going to disappear as soon as people stopped caring about the word "Angus", to be replaced by some mislabeled Quarter Pounder line (note that none of the QPs have 2 slices of cheese).

In any case, the Mexican Pizza uses those round tortillas that AFAIK aren't used on anything else. Unique ingredients are what killed the chili cheese burrito (twice). Maybe the MP is just too much of a signature item to ever get rid of but at $3-4+ depending on where you are, I can't imagine too many people order it.
