I know a vegan, we go out occasionally for food.

When I'm at her place, I respect her decision to cook and purchase vegan food stuffs.

When we go out, I order what I want and she orders what she wants from the vegetarian/vegan menu.

We've had the discussion on why she's vegan and I respect her right to choose what she wants to eat, she respect that not everyone would like to follow a vegan diet. There's no 'agenda' pushing, no "Oh, you should follow my diet". It's a nice thing.

The vegan people I know are very gay hyper liberals. I remember one night talking to one near-vegan and she was saying how she hated a specific company I can't remember, because it was owned by Christians "who hate gays". I shot back "yeah and you love in-n-out though, right?" and she had a huge "aw fuck" grin as she said "yeah... I love in-n-out..."

Her brother, also gay and hyper vegan, got upset with me one night for commenting on the chick fil a story as we passed by one.
