Whole wheat pasta. Clams. Zucchini, spinach, king oyster mushroom, garlic, ginger. White wine and orange sauce.

And a nice sized glass of the wine, too. Yes, I'm drinking from a coke glass. No, I don't drink soda.

No pic, but dinner was (I only eat dinner, no breakfast/lunch):

> Two confit chicken thighs, broiled until crispy, with olive oil mayonnaise
> Salad of three cups kale, 1/2 cup kalamata and castelvetrano olives, three sliced radishes, a sliced roma tomato, button mushroom, four green onions, half of a diced avocado, and three slices of crumbled bacon, with blue cheese dressing and cracked black pepper
> Three eggs fried in resulting bacon grease, with goat cheese sprinkled on top before flipping the eggs, so that the result was a fried egg with melted goat cheese
> A quarter cup of almonds, 20g 90% cacao dark chocolate, a tablespoon of coconut oil, a cup of raw goat milk, and about 1.25 cups of frozen blueberries/raspberries, blended together into something like sorbet

http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2008/06/crash-hot-potatoes/

This recipe, I can do all but the oven part ahead of time yes? As I said ~7 hours will be the time they are just sitting, would I be best to leave them in the oven or refrigerate them?

I would just boil the potatoes and do the rest later. If you mash them 7 hours before cooking, they might dry out/harden and end up with an odd texture.

I tried something new today.

Chicken breasts, garlic, shallots, beetroot, oca (yams) and green vegetable. It is seasoned with soysauce, mirin, sake, salt and sugar.

>You have any other similar concoctions you'd recommend?

I don't know about similar.. Basically I end up with a really thick smoothie that is easier to eat with a spoon than drink. It's not sorbet as it is not water based, it's more like really fruity sherbert.

As far as other concoctions I like, this is one:

> Rolled oats, uncooked
> Salt to taste
> Cinnamon/clove
> Olive oil
> Honey
> Mix until it forms clusters
> Eat plain or on ice cream
