When I was a kid, my parents used to leave the knives blade up. One day I wanted to get a cup for some water, so I climbed up on the counter, opened the cupboard, grabbed a cup, then jumped back down. Landed on my ass, and looked to my right. I had jumped straight on a knife that was embedded halfway through my wrist.
