It's actually pretty funny, people either think it's solid or absolutely hate it. I drink micros, but sometimes a High Life does really taste good. I think it's great for the price to be honest.

I work at a Cocktail bar, I've tended bar at everything from beer and shot joints to $200 a pour Scotch Bars and Hip-as-fuck craft brew meccas where our entire clientele rides fixed gear bicycles and sucks down the hoppiest, most local, most organic, unfiltered swill they can get... And at home in my fridge is a case of Miller High Life.

It is what it is, an unpretentious American beer that is tasty, cheap, and on a hot summer day it is like drinking the nectar of the gods.

This and PBR are the only good macros in my area

Damn good beer, and cheaper than any other macro out there. It's $7.77 for a 12 pack of cans, after tax at Walmart. The case of bottles is a dollar more, plus the cans are better for taking places.

Actually now that I think about it, walmart is probably the cheapest place to get beer here, since they tend to have things cheaper than the other supermarkets and especially gas stations/convenience stores. The cheapest liquor stores are all state stores here and they don't sell beer, the non-state controlled liquor stores that do sell beer have to buy their liquor through the state so it's all marked up some and I assume they mark up their beer a little as well.

And yeah I usually keep my alcohol in mine fridge for that reason, to fit cases.
