Well, that I get. I guess I was overstating my case.

I like the metallic/briny ones. But the milder ones are awesome too. I also don't have any preference for texture. The softer ones are more pleasing to me texture wise, but I like the flavor of the tougher ones I've eaten.

I'm no expert, so it's mostly an occasional treat for me, but oysters to me just taste like the pinnacle of seafood, what all seafood lovers should aspire to.

I used to shuck oysters for a living. any of you ever eaten an oyster crab? they're amazing.
