PHS Guy was the best. At that time I was working on my Master's and moved into a house with my gf. I made a point of going on /ck/ around 5-6pm EST just to catch his thread.

When I think of those threads I get nostalgic for that period of my life. It was also a great period for /ck/, those threads were awesome.

I hope he still lurks and posts. I'd love to see a new thread by him one day, but it is nice he left on a high note.

You basically just described MJG, Food from Japan guy, Shun guy, HoF's xmas piracy threads, and basically every other recurring post in the history of this board.

People get so unbelievably butthurt over the mere fact that they recognized a person from before, it's strange. No other website is like this, to my knowledge.

I think alot of it is non serious shit posting, and people do it because we are anonymous. I'm guilty of it, or used to be I'm trying to straighten up. For instance I'd sometimes go full sperg in a beans in chili thread. Yes I think chili is better without beans, but honestly I don't give a fuck what you put in your chili and have had some great chili with beans in it. I just thought I was being funny and was trying to get reactions when I did that.

This is why we have shit storms. If you are anon you have no consequences. Its also why 4chan is hilarious. Reddit I'd say is technically a "better" and more on topic website, but because everyone can identify each other its a douchey circle jerk and you won't find the humor or spontaneity that we have over here.
