How do you guys justify eating at home so much?

I enjoy cooking and I don't mind spending money on a hobby. But when I ate out more, my food expenses were much lower.

I prefer my food not be touched by dirty spics.

I justify it because I don't have a lot to be spending on constantly eating out. I enjoy making my own food, knowing what goes into it, it being fresh, and making it in large quantities to eat for lunch throughout the week. I get a weird sense of happiness cooking for another so I'll sometimes make extra to bring to another person. It's also a good way to practice portion control and count calories if you're trying to lose weight, etc.

I have an allergy to onions and while it's not peanut level severe, it does get pretty shit at times. I get all spaghetti when I have to ask places if there aren't onion in the dishes I'm wanting. I always feel like a picky asshole even though it's not by choice. I run into too many places that have a base ingredient list on the menu but forget to add onion. I hate sending food back so I try to avoid this at all costs.

Your ingredient list makes enough for three or four meals like that.

And? You're going to eat week-old brioche buns? Or just freeze your burgers and fries, and remicrowave them later?

Real life doesn't work like that, friend.

If you use 4 liters of fucking oil to fry off half a kilo of potatos, you are retarded and you should never cook.

No, its called not making everything at once. Are you going to make 5 lb bag of potatoes for one meal, or just 1 or 2 potatoes? And hell yes if I spend 7 dollars on buns i'm going to freeze them and use them.

>>5314450
how bout you dont buy more than you need? just get one bun, half a pound of meat, get like 2 potatoes and instead of deep frying them, pan fry them so you arent being a wasteful shit. everyone knows you dont need to deep fry something to make it edible

I like to spend my money on other things than food. Plus, homemade tastes better.
