I used to think mcdonalds is different in taste in murrica but my bigbro who's been there and asia in the last year said otherwise. It's supposedly the same shit they serve in Finland which makes me think how shitty tastebuds can someone even have to go to mcdonalds in the first place.

Years ago there was a place in my city called The Little Holland.

Ancient dine in run by like two old ladies, only open in the spring and summer and then only on Friday and Saturday. It got demolished a few years back, and they moved to a new place. It hasn't been the same since. Probably threw out the old flat top range that had decades of grease and seasoning on it. They were the best goddamn hamburgers,


Shit tier burgers though? tie between McDombles, Sonic and Dairy Queen. McD's are just dry and slathered in condiments, Sonic's food is almost entirely microwaved and DQ is just bland.

You don't know what you're talking about. Go to your local supermarket and pick a package of the shittiest looking patties. The cheaper the better (worse). Aim for 10 patties for $1.50 if possible. Those burgers will make McDonald's taste like gourmet in comparison, and will be more expensive overall, and so do most burger joins and homemade burgers.
McDonalds didn't get to where it is by being shit, it's way better than half of the stuff out there, and cheaper.

The thing with fast food restaurant, is that although 90% of their food is shit, they have a gem or two that keeps bringing you to their shithole.

I'm a sucker for Jack in the box's taco and big cheeseburgers, Carl's jrs burgers in general, Taco bell's loaded grills, and El pollo loco's rice, flour tortillas and chicken. I don't find anything appetizing about MC donald's item in any way , maybe other than the fries, but I never eat fries anywho

Jack in the box has the worst quality meat, i almost ended up with a chipped tooth a number of times biting down on chunks of bone(happened at least 3 or 4 times as a child). I still like the tacos even though I heard it was some sort of soy product mixed with beef product.

Carl's Jr. is easily the best non-local burger chain these days. They just keep getting better.

In N' Out is impossible to beat if you're on the west coast though. Five Guys is nothing compared to it.

Jack in the box is literally a last resort option when all the other fast food places are closed. Hell, the McDonalds around here doesn't stay open 24 hours except on weekends so during the week the only place for late night fast food is that greasy hellhole. I feel like I need a shower after eating those curly fries.

Where I live the main difference between McDonald's and Burger King isn't really the food.

At McD, the tables and counter are kept clean, the staff is attentive, clean, professional and polite.

At BK I always see heaps of trash on the tables, the staff are weird-looking mumbling kids that manage to spill drink all over your cup every single time and takes ages to fill orders. The floor is usually sticky from spilled drink that evaporated because nobody cleaned it up.

I disagree, I had MD in Brazil once, the bread was soggy from the grease and it was the most rancid thing I've ever (attempted) eaten. Far worse than the usual breed of MD burgers in the US.

Carls Jr is the penultimate example of fast food burgers and I don't know how they do it. You can smell it from miles away and it's like jesus sucking my dick. Wendy's doesn't do that but by no means are they awful either. In comparison to Jack in the Box, McDonalds or Del Taco (Which serves burgers.) it's alright

The worst hamburger i ever ate was a standard elementary school cafeteria hamburger in the late 80s.. it tasted like a subtle taste of burnt hair, absolutely nothing else. The second worst hamburger ive had is the mcdonalds standard, no cheese.
The third worst hamburger is jack in the box standard, no cheese.
The fourth worst hamburger ive ever had was those microwavable cheeseburgers.
then comes in-and-out in all their mundane overrated glory.
Then comes homemade burgers.
Then comes your average mom and pop joint burger, theyre all good. Havent had a bad one yet.
The best hamburger that iver ever had in my entire life was a whopper from burger king in cameron park, ca in 1989.. everything on it. Second best burger was same burger in placerville, ca burger king around 1991. The only thing that would have made it better was a higher qaulity patty, the topping combination was down to sheer perfection.
