what kind of a sick bastard would invent such an insidious device?

>> No.5297309

Will it work with a handle of liquor?

>> No.5297311

>>5297307
It probably relies on the groove indent screwy stuff where the lid goes.

What is that word?

I think handles have a bigger neck

>> No.5297315

That's pretty neat, I might start bottling my homebrew in soft drink bottles.

you could always pour the liquor in a soda bottle

>> No.5298000

I'm not generally too worried about plastics because I have bare handed handled too many carcinogens in my life to think it will matter in the end ... but still putting alcohol in a plastic bottle is going to leach way more shit out of it than soda.

Why is this superior to just pouring the bottle into a glass

It properly aerates the beverage triggering oxidation so you truly enjoy your soda.

I wonder how many people have tried to turn the bottle upside down to put it in there and poured the entire bottle of soda all over their counter.

I doubt anyone stupid enough to actually buy this so, probably not many

my only concern is that there will be the tiniest bit of liquid left over that won't come out of the spigot thing because there isn't enough

>> No.5298272

>>5298180
no that is not the reason

it gives a more consistent and refreshing pour

0 science. A person can pour just fine, its not like a hand pour will degrade quality. Using a tap such as this will allow the beverage to breath appropriately. The tap isn't necessary for a fruit soda, but for a good quality cola? You need a tap or decanter to fully appreciate the more complex notes.

Lol implying this is me? I don't eat American fast food garbage. I do however drink special small batch and artisan colas. Sorry you've never had the gastro-experience of enjoying a high-tier cola thus assume they're all pleb HFCS shit like what you consume daily.

>>5298408
No, I have no idea what activated almonds even are. Some sort of trendy shit like Himalayan salt?
