hey /ck/, about a week or so ago I came in here and asked about some food related movies for a screenplay I'm writing. I got a lot of great responses and recently started to watch some of the films suggested (Currently downloading Tampopo and Estomago) and now it's got me thinking and coming to /ck/ again to ask your help one more.

I've been recently thinking about how food has permeated not only our culture but our language as well. Now I'm looking to find as many food focused phraes/puns as I can find, such as

Stop egging him on.
She's boiling mad.
I'm so hungry I could eat a horse.
To eat humble pie and so on.

So I was wondering /ck/ what other food phrases/puns can you think of? It doesn't have to be in english, I'd welcome any other languages as well (but please put a translation so I can get the general idea of the message it's trying to convey)
