Like 4 times a year just had our anniversary. Super expensive for me , but well worth it.

My spotted owl has never picked up the check, unless you count the time she tried to pay with a dead rat. It was declined.

Neither of us enjoy going out to eat, we both despise it. She can't cook for shit, so I pretty much do all of that. If there's something that involves a lot of time and/or I'm not sure how to make it, we just get carry-out, e.g. sushi or shrimp fondue.

I want someone to go out to food places with. Not even a significant other or anything, just a person that doesn't mind to get called up, go out for a nice meal and to share a restaurant experience with.

If I had a s/o that'd probably be the biggest perk but I'm autistic so that's never going to fly. Am I doomed /ck/?

I don't have a S/O but I do enjoy getting good deals that usually involve meals for two people.

i cook 90% of the time and boyfriend doesn't care enough for food. the only things that he ever makes are miso soup and red sauce for pasta.

me too. my boyfriend is fucking awkward. i'm weird as fuck too because whenever we go out to eat, i'm always paranoid about our waitress/waiter thinking that we're poor... which is true.

Me and my partner usually pay as often.
However, they often pick the more expensive food.

We both pay pretty equally, it depends on whoever has the most money at the time and generally we'll try to pay each other back or make it up in other ways. We don't go out as often as we used to, though. Maybe once every few months to a nice place, but quick lunch/dinner 'dates' are perhaps once a week.

My s/o isn't really experienced when it comes to restaurants that aren't Olive Garden-tier but I've been doing my best to expand her horizons. We've been to a few semi-fancy Italian and Japanese places so far and she's enjoyed herself. We probably go out about once a week and alternate who pays the bill each time.
