Yea I've seen them a few times. Its a scam, the meat is low quality and mostly inedible. They always have the same sales strategy too.

"eh boy, sold most of my stock to that fellow (insert made up name) up the street, I've got a little bit left I need to sell I'll cut you a real good deal on it. Its gotta go today"

I broke down and bought some rib eye's from one of these guys. Although they were not very large (about 6 oz.) they were very good quality. I paid $30 for 10 steaks, so I think I got my money's worth.
