There's nothing more disgusting than mushy spaghetti. I bet that nigger is FILLED with overcooked, Soggy Noodle Hell.

If I wanted to eat that glop I'd pop open a can of spaghetti-Os.

There's also the alternative; al dente and coated with the sauce, this works well if the sauce is thick and the pasta is the correct shape for holding the sauce.

Or, OR.

You could like the taste of a good quality pasta and not basically attempt to drink sauce.

I really love bucatini btw. Picture not related. But try some bucatini some time.

Love me some bucatini. Someting so satisfying about the texture versus spaghetti. However, I'm more fond of chewier, Asian noodles, like the alkaline variety, hand pulled, and rice cakes.

>> No.5235683

There was a local place called Grinders & Spaghetti House and we'd get family size buckets of spaghetti from them with meat sauce and garlic bread. It was amazingly good.

Does *anyone's* LC offer pasta anymore? I haven't seen that on their menu since the '90s. I even remember them doing Ravioli! Ravioli! and thinking there were too many syllables for that to work

It's their chocolate ravioli. Not sure how many oldfags there are on /ck/ to remember that, but it was a dessert that LC offered for a while back in the '90s. And it was awesome. They had regular ravioli too but I never had that.

It cost the big chain companies lots more money to ship their shit to HI or AS because you have to fly/cross borders to get your goods there. Almost all US companies have the mark up.

Back in the day they were called Caesars Sandwiches but I don't know if what's in that menu is the same thing. LC owners can change their menus around, they're not all locked into the same things (google around and you'll find lots of regional LCs with far more extensive menus than just the Hot n Ready stuff).

Back in their '90s heyday they had spaghetti, ravioli, chocolate ravioli, lots of different kinds of pizza including Big Big Cheese, Pizza By The Foot, Baby Pan Pan (which I see this menu still has), and of course that 2 pizzas for $6 or whatever it was deal that gave them their slogan. It's nice to see an LCs with a bigger menu although I'm not sure if any of them anywhere still have pasta.
