There's an even better way of cooking well done steak. Grind it up into hamburg steaks then cook until no red can be seen.

I actually prefer the taste of well-done to rare.

Tastes better and also doesn't have that truly disgusting raw look.

OP's pic looks totally fine, there was enough fat in that meat to let it cook to this point while staying tender. The proteins haven't caused the whole thing to 'bunch up'.
