Britbong here, I imported some Huy Fong Foods Sriracha sauce as we can't get it here and it seems to be pretty popular so I thought I'd give it a try.

So are there any particular recipes /ck/ recommend I do with it? I'm quite hungry now and particularly looking for something quick and easy but anything is welcome.

I like it on hot dogs and scrambled eggs

>> No.5070788

Use it like you would use any other hot sauce. Generally goes best with asian recipes, but I've used it on pizza/calzones, grilled chicken or pork, wheverer else you would normally use hot sauce.

Ah okay, I wonder how it'll taste on my breakfast crumpets.

Used up the last of my bradwurst yesterday. ;-;

I put it in my spicy chicken marinade. It's amazing.

Do you normally put hot sauce on your breakfast crumpets?

That doesn't sound very good at all.

I like it as a glaze on chicken wings. I prefer the chili garlic sauce by the same company, however.

Try it on eggs.

This for sure. Their hot sauce can rot for all I care, but the chili garlic is 2nd only to homemade.

Most larger supermarkets with a world food section have sriracha so you don't need to import it. I've found it in asda and tesco in Manchester and a tesco in Cardiff. I'm sure plenty of asian supermarkets stock it as well.

I mix it with mayo and use it for dipping stuff.

Okay buddies, I'm going with

>Chicken thighs
>Chestnut mushrooms
>Bell peppers
>all fried then adding
>chopped tomatoes
>Sriracha sauce
>with rice

Questioning adding some Lea & Perrins too.

It tastes the exact same except it's got little knotty seeds in it.

But feel free to be a unique little snowflake.

sambal oelek has much more of a peppery and vinegary hit to it as compared to sriracha

it's like comparing good hot salsa to ketchup

don't get me wrong, I like sriracha on eggs or sandwiches or whatnot

but these are markedly different products (and sambal oelek is superior)

Oh, who's such a special little snowflake...You are! Yes you are! What a unique individual you are, parroting the opinions you've seen spouted out by other people possessing identities so fragile, they need to pull shit like this on 4chan.

Its Mexican Ketschup. Put it on everthing. As far as recipes go, i dont like useing it in recipes at the restaurant unless it genuinly has a profile that cant be done from scratch.
