ITT; food we're proud of that ended up nicely/first time dish.

Lambsteak with rosemary, grass onion, garlic and butter + obligatory salt.
Side-dish: roasted potatoes with bbq-spices, mushroom sauce.
Excellent <:

Isn't that sweet when it turns out like that?

Kudos.

What cut of lamb is that steak?

The first time I baked an apple pie I was just proud that it tasted like an apple pie.

It tasted amazing, got a 5/5 from my friend who I cooked for.
Sweet d00de,
The cut is called lambsteak as far as I know, at least it's called that in Sweden.

Anyone know what a lamb steak in Sweden would be? Shoulder cut? Leg cut?

The first time I baked a loaf of bread. The crust was thick as shit and the crumb was more dense than mercury, but it tasted good.

Now I bake like 3 loaves a week. Shit's addicting.

I grew up richfag so when I was kicked out I had to eat ramen

Naturally I dont fly that way so I added pepper, ginger, and some beef throwaway taco meat I cooked

Best meal I ever made.

It is addicting. First time I made bread I couldn't go back to store bought (and it didn't even turn out great the first time).

I just got a Kitchenaid mixer for Christmas with the bread hook attachment so it's even easier to make it frequently without the hand kneading.
