you will need an oven and spices and some beef or venison or pork etc etc. you need to make a rack to hang in the oven because jerky made on a cookie sheet is flat sided and weird. Google for recipes and cooking time because those really depend on taste.

Slice up a slab of meat to about 1/4" thickness

Let your slices soak in your marinade for about 2-3 hours with agitation at the half-way point. I like to use soy sauce, Worcester sauce, red pepper flakes, and some kind of sweet chilli sauce.
Once you're ready to put it on the dehydrator, pepper the shit out of it, then set your dehydrator to about 135 degrees.
Monitor your jerky for about 6-7 hours, and rotate your dehydrator trays about halfway through.
