My ideal experience would be putting on my outside-the-house gloves and using a touchscreen for my order and payment.

Then I would drive to a window containing an opaque box where the worker places the food. All you'd see is his/her gloved hands, nothing more.

No faces, no eye contact, no exchange of words (or *shudder* small talk), no awkward pauses or moments. I am happy to see things going in this direction, but I fear we are at least a decade from this progressive consumer experience.

I ordered that. I think I finished half of it...? It has marinara sauce so it has a slightly different flavor. The bread was actually freshly baked on site.. so I had to wait a while for it to come out. It was nice and soft though. Probably would have been nicer with some spinach and bacon...

I hate that too, but it's a small price to pay. Ordering 2 combos is much less embarrassing than ordering a combo and multiple side items.

I usually drink as much soda as I can then drive to a secluded spot and dump it out. Those cups leak after sitting in the car for a few days. If I can't eat two orders of fries I feed the seagulls, which can be pretty fun and makes dinner less lonely.

Wow. I was at this place briefly before I turned it all around a couple years ago. Down 140 lbs now.

I never felt any shame or ordered differently to cover it up, but I did take advantage of buy-one-get-one-free coupons that came in the mail and would dump the second soda and eat in a secluded area so no one at home would know about it.

Always hated the drive home with the sticky hands from Whopper drippings. Sometimes I washed with ice from one of the sodas and wiped up with napkins, but it was only a temporary fix.

I tried eating just one Whopper and fries last week and felt sick to my stomach afterwards. It felt good to not feel good. There's really no temptation for that shit anymore.

The waitress tells a story about some 10 year old girl that ordered it because she wanted the shake and the girl had some and started crying and couldn't eat it and it's super hot. Though one food that I had recently that i thought was pretty interesting was a local burger shop had a horseradish peperjack burger. first time i had it it was good the second time i had it had them add jalapenos . yes and no. It seems to very from place to place, I've gotten rolled once or twice when i asked for hot and they gave me something that i would bet good money they couldn't eat that was extremely spicy. But in general I would say they don't make it as spicy as they could.
