How do you like your guacamole, /ck/?
I like to make mine with a 1:1 lime to avocado ratio, a bit of salt and chopped onions. Lacking onions or the patience to chop them I like to add a bit of garlic powder.

I used to eat everything with peppers but I was just diagnosed with a stomach thing and my doctor advised me to cut down on the heat.

How come the grocery store only sells rock hard avocados I can't use immediately yet when I bring them home they emit mind control amnesia rays that prevent me from remembering them until they're soupy rotten mush

I'm sorry to hear that anon. Could you maybe try using a milder pepper? Poblano maybe? IMO a good pepper is integral to the guacamole. Serrano is my shit but I think a little poblano would do you good.

LOL.

I keep my recipe simple. To each avocado, half mash/half chunky, I'll add about 2 tablespoons of red onion, lime juice, cilantro, and about 1/4th of a jalapeno.

If it's some unripe avocado I can't wait to use, or a more bland non-Hass variety, I will add a touch of sour cream or mayo, or even a bit of tomato to up the flavor and creaminess. If I can't get it limey enough, I'll add some zest to the juice.

Keep them in a paper bag on top of your fridge. Ready in two days.

I'm actually quitting cold turkey until I get better. I don't really enjoy less spicy peppers as much. I'd rather go without any heat until I'm better then eat everything with rocoto.

Poblano tastes good though. My pepper of choice for guacamole is serrano, and jalapeno works. But still, I'd take a poblano guac over a no pepper guac.

Plenty of avocado, diced tomato, diced jalapeno, diced onion, bit of lime juice (keeps the color), chopped cilantro, bit of mayo (extra creamy, no flavor), salt, pepper, chili powder.
