I actually made these, they were surprisingly decent. Use only a quarter of an onion if you're using a regular can of tuna, though. 1 onion is like the same amount as the tuna.

Thai Salad
for next 3-4 days, can use in sandwiches

before you cut anything, wash it all, there are pesticides on it probs. try and cut into smaller thinner slices, mix everything as you make it.

you need,
sharp knife
town
large bowl/s
cutting board
fry pan

>green is for vegiess

>Mixed Cos lettuce, 2-3 handfulls- 1 hand of rocket too if they have it.
>they usually have it at same/similar price.
>Basil - take leaves off stalk
>Coriander - pick leaves
>Mint (long leaf) -
>Capsicum, 3 (try diff colors yellow,green) -slice
>Cucumber 1 - slice
>Bean sprouts (comes in plastic bag, usually last 2-3 days)
>Mung beans/chick peas (canned, wash em in water lots, get them dry a bit after)
>Spanish onion - sliced length ways
>Corn - peel, pic in container in water wave with bit of water, leave a lid a little, 2min? idk trial and error depending on size of corn, maybe talking too much about corn.. do it, cut it off cob

Stick to this to keep it budget

additions..
sultanas, blackcurrants, mango (this is epic level)
or nuts

The sauce
some of this can be pricey to buy but will last forever and give lots of portions, commit.

3 tbl soy sauce (light one, depending on your taste can get others)
2 tbl sweet sour sauce (bottle)
1/2 tbl
>lime (if they are in season/cheap) - cut in half,
make X cut in open side, cutting down a bit, use a spoon to press out juice into bowl remove seeds)
fish sauce - 4 drops up to 1 tsp depending how
used to it you are, its strong
whisk all this together well.
pour this onto salad, doesn't need too much

If you feel like meat, nice piece of beef, scotch fillet is best.
smack it up a bit with fist
dash of oil each side, rub it into meat
bit of s&p
hot high heat pan, no oil on pan,
i like it rare
1min one side, 1 min next side
2min rest on plate
cut thin slices

done.

schlipfkrapfen

filling:
1 kg cooked potatoes (with a lot of starch)
1 onion
2 garlic cloves
salt and pepper
muscat
chives

dough:
500 g flour
salt
1 egg

peel and mash the potatoes. cut garlic and chives.
cut onions and fry them in pan. mix all the ingredients.

mix flour with salt and egg. pour water into the mixture
until you can knead the dough. roll it out very thin
(about 3 mm thick). cut out 5-8 cm wide circles.

put a bit of filling onto the circles, flap them over
to little crescents and press them carefully so they
won't unfold.

sprinkle with flour on both sides and put into boiling
water.
when finished cooking serve with chives, parmesan and
brown butter.
you can also put them onto a cutting board into
the refrigerator so they won't stick together. in ziplock
bags you can keep them there for about 4-6 months.
